Shelters that connect with nature without sacrificing comfort. We design and build light and sustainable structures such as geodesic domes, tipis, yurts, and wooden cabins, perfect for ecotourism projects or as a personal escape.
Innovation and panoramic views. At Eco-Construction Medellín, we design and build geodesic domes with low-impact materials, such as FSC wood and recycled aluminum profiles, which are assembled in prefabricated modules transported by electric trucks. The thermal insulation, based on vegetable wool and polyurethane foam, guarantees comfort in the region's temperate climate. Additionally, we offer tipis and yurts, made with hemp roofs and recycled wood panels, for luxury glamping experiences that respect the local aesthetic.
Warmth and tradition. We build sustainable wooden cabins using eucalyptus and cedar from responsible plantations. The compressed earth brick walls and green roofs reduce the interior temperature and promote biodiversity. Natural ventilation, with recycled glass skylights, takes advantage of mountain air currents, while clean-burning wood stoves provide non-toxic heat. The interior finishes use water-based paints and organic cotton textiles for a healthy environment.
Self-sufficient living. Our glamping and cabin projects integrate harmoniously with the landscape, respecting the local flora and fauna. We install 5 kW photovoltaic solar panels with lithium-ion batteries, rainwater harvesting systems with sand filters and solar pumps, and dry toilets that convert waste into high-quality compost. In addition, we promote waste separation and recycling, collaborating with local cooperatives to strengthen the area's circular economy.
